Have you ever thought why do we need to awaken the inner child. May be because it has fallen asleep. Yes. As we didn't listen to the voice of the conscience , didn't pay attention to what it is prompting at, the inner child stopped guiding and fell asleep. And this led us to darkness not knowing what to do , we took advice from other people who are also disconnected from their conscience. Hence, the advice exchange again led towards pain and sufferings. Where there's no light of knowledge,  there is darkness and darkness is always uncertainity  filled with doubt and fear. So we need to project some light before we enter the darkness. Light comes when you get connected to yourself and once again practice paying attention to what the inner child is whispering . Intially it is difficult to understand but gradually when we keep on connecting again and again we learn skills for this connection. For a connection to happen , the path should be clear .
